Shipping during the holiday rush can be a bit unpredictable. We try to avoid announcing any release dates until we are quite confident that we will be able to have games distributed to hobby stores around the world by the appropriate date. However, sometimes things just don’t go as planned.
Due to an incredible amount of extra congestion at the Los Angeles Port and a shortage of available truckers, our shipment of King of New York was delayed. The good news is that this is a great sign that the economy is rolling again. The bad news is that it means you’ll have a to wait a few more weeks for King of New York.
Due to these factors, we have moved our release date for King of New York to November 13th.
Our shipment has left LA, is on a train to Chicago, and has a date with a trucker to take it from there to our warehouse. With this information in hand, we’re feeling pretty good about our new release date.
Don’t forget to check with your local retailer to find out if they are hosting a release party! Hobby stores are welcome to contact me for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
