March 26 is not usually a remarkable day (excluding Keira Knightley’s birthday), but tomorrow marks an exciting day in the IELLO world! We are excited to welcome three new games to our family: Konito?, Steam Torpedo: First Contact, and its booster pack Steam Torpedo: R&D!
Konito? is a new competitive party game where the goal is to complete popular Anglophone phrases, earn points, and move your spherical guy around the track. You can build your own board to alter the length of playtime and play in teams to increase the player number! There are three card difficulties and bonus challenge cards to keep the game interesting, though that shouldn’t be a problem seeing as there are over 1600 phrases to play with!
This game plays 2-12, ages 8+, for around 30 min. Find it here!
Steam Torpedo: First Contact is a WW2 submarine battle game with two phases: ship building & battling. Players build their respective submarines with tiles that offer different abilities (guaranteeing no two ships will ever be alike!), then develop their own strategy to use their crew members to destroy their opponent’s control room or entire crew. You must juggle submarine movement, diminishing oxygen supplies, and your opponent’s attacks!
This game plays 2, ages 13+, for around 40 min. Find it here!
Steam Torpedo: R&D is a non-collectible booster pack for First Contact. It adds ten new submarine room tiles, which allows for new submarine builds and new strategies! Find it here!
