Confidentiality policy

This privacy policy (hereinafter the “Privacy Policy”) applies to any person who accesses the www.iello.fr website (hereinafter the “Website”), creates a User account on the Website, purchases goods on the Website or interacts with IELLO either via the contact form on the Website or by sending an electronic message (hereinafter the “User”).

IELLO, as the data controller, is committed to protecting the privacy of Users in accordance with legal requirements and in particular law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 (known as the “Informatique et Libertés” law). The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform Users of the Web Site of the manner in which IELLO protects the personal data it collects when Users browse the Web Site.

Unless otherwise specified in this Privacy Policy, terms defined in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall have the same meaning in the Privacy Policy.

By browsing the Website and providing personal data in the contact form on the Website or by creating a User account, the User acknowledges having read the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Article 1: Minors

The Website is accessible to everyone. However, as indicated in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the purchase of Products on the Website is reserved exclusively for adults (aged 18 and over).

The creation of a User account and the collection of personal data via the Website are reserved for persons aged 16 and over. If personal data concerning minors under the age of 16 are unintentionally recorded via the contact form on the Website, IELLO will endeavour to delete them as soon as possible.

Article 2: Data collected by IELLO

Data communicated to IELLO by Users

IELLO processes the data communicated to it by the User, in particular when the User :

contacts IELLO via the contact form on the Website,

  • contacts customer service,
  • creates and manages his/her User account on the Internet Site,
  • places an order on the Internet Site,
  • participates in promotional offers or competitions,
  • uses any other point of contact with IELLO.

In this context, IELLO may in particular collect and process the personal data of the User as follows:

  • The User’s identity: first name, surname, date of birth;
  • The User’s contact details: email address and telephone number;
  • The User’s identifiers: identifier and password enabling the User to connect to the User account;
  • The User’s payment and/or bank details: billing details.
  • Data relating to the device enabling the User to connect to the Website: technical information concerning the characteristics and operating data of the User’s device, the operating system, the IP address;
  • Any other information directly and voluntarily provided by the User, and in particular messages sent by the User via the contact form (sent messages), via electronic mail or provided by the User when contacting customer service.

The mandatory nature of the information that the User must provide is indicated at the time of collection and on the corresponding forms by an asterisk.

Data collected using cookies

Article 3: Use of User data

As data controller, IELLO collects Users’ personal data lawfully and fairly and respects their rights. The main purpose of collecting personal data is to provide Users with a safe, optimal, efficient and personalised experience.

The information collected by IELLO, including personal data, is used for the following purposes:

  • Manage the User account creation procedure and manage the User account;
  • To provide the services offered on the Website and, in particular, to enable the User to purchase goods on the Website;
  • Processing payments;
  • Manage the delivery of goods offered for sale on the Website;
  • Respond to Users’ requests and communicate with them regarding products and services offered by IELLO, their views on products and services provided by IELLO and important changes and developments in products and services offered by IELLO;

It should be noted that IELLO may ask the User to provide certain personal data in order to send commercial prospecting messages (in particular, information relating to the launch of new products and/or services, the organisation of promotional events and marketing activities of all kinds). Users may explicitly and freely consent or not to the collection and processing of their personal data for marketing purposes by ticking a box.

Article 4: Users’ rights regarding their personal data

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, Users have the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data. Article 5: Updating personal data

Users undertake to update their personal data as necessary by updating their profile on their User account or by sending a request via the contact form accessible by clicking here. The User also undertakes to ensure that the personal data concerning him/her is accurate, complete and unambiguous.

Article 6: Communication of Users’ personal data

IELLO undertakes to retain all personal data collected via the Website and to share it only in certain circumstances and in accordance with the provisions of the French Data Protection Act.

In particular, IELLO may share and communicate your personal data with its subsidiaries throughout the world in order to adopt a coherent group policy in this respect and in particular to launch joint operations, events, product and service offers.

In particular, IELLO may grant access to Users’ personal data to third party service providers, acting as subcontractors, to perform services relating to the Website, in particular hosting, storage, analysis, marketing, communication, data processing, database management or IT maintenance services. Article 7: Storage of Users’ personal data

Personal data collected by IELLO is stored on the servers of a service provider located in the European Economic Area.

In addition, affiliated companies, service providers or other third parties listed above to whom IELLO may communicate Users’ personal data may be domiciled abroad and in particular outside the European Economic Area. IELLO will then require them to take, in accordance with current regulations, all organisational and technical measures to ensure an adequate level of protection of Users’ personal data (in particular by signing standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission).

IELLO retains the personal data collected via the Internet Site:

  • when contact is made via the form on the Website or when a User account is created: for a period of 3 years from the last contact with the User.
  • on the occasion of sales made from the Website: for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and for a period of 3 years from the end of the contractual relationship for use for commercial prospecting purposes.

In any event, the data will be kept for the duration of the statute of limitations applicable to all personal data collected in the context of the commercial relationship.

At the end of this period, IELLO will delete all personal data concerning the User, with the exception of data required to fulfil its contractual or legal obligations.

Article 8: Security and protection of Users’ personal data

The security of personal data is one of IELLO’s priorities. IELLO undertakes to take all reasonable administrative and technical measures to prevent any disclosure, use, alteration, accidental loss or destruction of personal data provided by a User.

Article 9: Changes to the Privacy Policy

IELLO may update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect new practices and service offerings. In this case, the date of the update of the Privacy Policy will be updated and will indicate the day on which the modifications were made. Users are responsible for checking for any updates to this Privacy Policy posted on the Web Site. If IELLO makes changes that it considers significant, Users will be notified via the Web Site.

Article 10: Links to third-party websites

While browsing the Website, the User may see content that includes links to third party mobile applications and/or websites. IELLO cannot access or control cookies or other functions used by third party mobile applications and/or websites, and the procedures of these external mobile applications are not governed by this Privacy Policy. Therefore, it is the User’s responsibility to contact and/or consult directly the general terms of use and privacy statement of such third party mobile applications and/or websites for additional information regarding their personal data protection procedures.
