Old-school video game fans, get out your coffee tables! 8Bit Box is a boxed set of 3 board games, directly inspired by retrogaming. Each game board is reminiscent of the greatest video game names of the 80s, which you’ll be delighted to share with your friends and family for a great time.

With its 6 controllers, 8Bit Box lets you invite up to 6 players for frenetic games. It contains all the basic equipment you’ll need for your games (counters, dice, tokens, etc.). The 3 games included are presented individually, in the manner of old-fashioned game cartridges. Each contains the specific equipment needed to play it, which complements that of 8Bit Box.

As for the joysticks, they enable each player to plan and carry out his or her game actions, such as moving characters or vehicles. All together, you can play board games on a table, based on the major themes of video games.

Pixoïd

At the center of a printed circuit board, Pixoid tries to escape from the Bugs who want to catch him.

With joysticks in hand, the Pixoid player and each Bug player move around the circuit. Pixoid must survive as long as possible without being hit. The Bug players must coordinate their movements to capture Pixoid.

In this asymmetrical “all against one” game, players take it in turns to embody the valiant Pixoid. A fun, jubilant tribute to one of the world’s best-known video games.

Outspeed

Drive through obstacles and under fire! Use your joystick to zigzag your way through a canyon, aiming to cross the finish line first. Position yourself wisely as each new course tile is revealed, watch your fuel, and pick up the right bonus at the right time to leave your rivals in the dust!

In this multi-event game, you’ll have to manage your energy to become the God of the stadium. Use your joystick wisely to control your effort, and trust your team-mates to take over if you run out of breath. 10 events await you: which team will bring home the most medals?
