Buy and sell!

The game is played in two phases: the Buy phase and the Sell phase, each of which takes place over several rounds.

In the Buying phase, players bid one after the other. When a player passes, he takes the lowest-value house card still available, and gets back half his bid. The last player, who picks up the highest-value card, spends his entire bid!

In the House Sale phase, players each choose a House card from their hand and reveal it simultaneously. The player who played the House with the highest value takes the highest check, and so on.

When all the House cards have been sold and all the cheques collected, the richest player is declared the winner.
